Long ago, the mighty city of Midgaard dominated the lands with its trade. Then disaster struck, as a long defunct volcano showered the citizens with flaming ashes and covered most of the city in burning lava. What remains is a shell of the former city, half-buried in solidified lava, and perched on the edge of disaster. Ghosts and phantoms of the former citizens inhabit the city now, screaming in silent pain and rage at their brutal downfall.
