A vast. chilly, windy expanse opening into the belly of the Island, the strangely archaic expanse known to some as the Moors of Gr'Valdh lie as remnants of legend and folktale. Long ago, the Gr'Valdhic people were cursed as were their lands, and overran by strange and bloodthirsty tribes. Where once they were rulers of their destiny, they were damned by the gods for their wicked and ungrateful ways. The land reverted to its prehistoric nature, and the sun was blocked by gods, removing all warmth from the bonesof the Gr'Valdhic peoples. All that stands today are the ruins of a once-proud civilization, and a few hermit-like leftovers trying to hold on to what was once a strong kingdom, a symbol of power and fortitude.
