There exist times when knowing a person's location is a matter of life
and death. It is for these emergencies that the 'vision' spell has been
invented. Once cast, it will bring the momentary shot of the place the
target is in, as if you peeked just over his or her shoulder. The target
will be aware of your interrogation as they will experience a chilling
sensation that comes from being watched closely. The more secretive and
wary types of adventurers may protect themselves with 'mindbar', thus
rendering 'vision' useless (unless your level is equal to, or greater than
theirs). And, of course, there always exists a possibility of someone's
having protected the area with the mental shield of scrybite.
