This spell creates a glowing green sphere about the victim which will
absorb the results of offensive spells. So while you are protected by a
spell shield, adverse spells cannot harm you. Your shield can have up to
120 mana at one time in it, the more mana that is in it, the more spell
damage it can absorb. Each time it absorbs a spell, it loses some of its
strength. It also loses strength each tick. Given enough time, the spell
shield will completely fade away, without absorbing any spells at all.
