Sadly, one of the dangers of being a holy man is the wandering bands of thugs
that plague our fair land. These brutes have no respect for religion, and
will happily murder any priest for the chapel's silver service.

Often the fallen priests who aid these dangerous criminals will use the
devilish 'vision' spell to look for potential victims; the gods have provided
Scrybite as a defense against this possibility. Scrybite will not only
block any 'vision' spells aimed at your area, but will also punish the
remote caster by robbing him of his sight. (Be aware that the magic attaches
to the place it's cast, not to the caster, so if you leave you'll lose
the benefits.)

Warning: sufficiently powerful 'vision' casters may be able to evade this
punishment; if the caster is vastly more powerful than you, he may even be
able to penetrate the 'scrybite' field.
