Like every other spell related to perception, this hex carries a strong
component of air. It is twined with very small portions of the other
elements, imbuing the target of the spell with the ability to perceive
elemental fluxes. This extrasensorial perception is translated by most
users as a bluish glimmer, but a study using non-homo humanoids indicates
that other visualizations are also possible (see Ynalis Bluemoon's "Treatise
on the Magik of Perception and the Perception of Magik., JPAM vol 17).

Magic is divided into various types (see 'help strata' for more details).
In some places one type or another runs very close to our world. This spell
will tell you if that is the case. In such places, you can often find
decorative (but useless, as far as I know) shards of crystallized mana.
