This spell will summon the power of your divinity to aid the target.
Their skin thickens slightly: its appearance does not change noticeably
but it will be much harder to damage. This increased resistance refers
to all physical attacks, whether piercing, cutting or blunt: it does not
defend from magical attacks. It is not necessary to be registered with
any kind of religious organization in order to use the spell.

Research shows that the mage version of the spell is slightly different.
An armor spell cast without pulling upon faith on external powers will
produce the same exact results as the clerical version, but the casting
itself is more difficult. The exact elemental composition of the spell
has not been completely determined yet but it is known to contain a large
proportion of earth.
