Dexterous fingers of transcendental quickness are substantially more
important for thieves than for any other class, whether it be for
backstabbing or picking locks, or so persnickety a task as applying
deadly poison onto the blade of a dagger. Originally taught by
Five Hands, this technique has gained in popularity, even though it
is so extremely difficult to master. The trick is to concentrate
until the entire perception of time enters a different state, so
that your actions retain their normal speed (and difficulty) for
you, and seem lightning-quick for everybody else.

Naturally, only those for whom backstabbing, theft, and poisons
are way of life, have any hope of inheriting the deadly skill.
