This skill is used to put the target into a nasty deathgrip. If
successful, the [[Monk]] grapples the target and deals large amounts of
damage for the first few rounds of combat. While the target is able to
attempt to strike back during this time, the grappling will severely limit
their ability to hit or flee.

You can't do many things while grappling; if you find an urgent need
to scratch your nose or something, you can end the deathgrip by typing
'release'.
