This valued skill allows you to ascertain the influences of the stars
in daily life. The most influential stars are the four wanderers,
Geri, Freki, Hugin, and Munin. While the wanderers hold sway over
everything we do, their effects are felt most strongly at the time
of conjunctions, when two or more of the wanderers are very close to
each other in the sky.

To use the skill, simply type "reading" and you will see a list of
the conjunctions that will occur for the next six months. The effect
of a conjunction depends on two things: how many wanderers are involved,
and in which of the celestial houses the conjunction occurs. A minor
conjunction is when two wanderers pass each other; the much rarer major
conjunction is when three or four wanderers pass each other. Generally
the effects of a major conjunction are about twice as strong as those
of a minor conjunction.

The type of effect of a conjunction depends on the house in which it
occurs. See "help houses" for more details.
