By default, groups of adventurers move in a big disorganized rabble. The
leader goes into a room first, and everybody else follows at his or her own
pace. However, clever adventurers assign a point man: someone who leads the
group, so as to always be the first into a room. The strongest warrior
usually takes this position, since it entails taking most of the damage in
fights.

The one on point is also assumed to be trying to be the primary opponent
of anyone the group is fighting. Most attacks will go to him, if he's
involved in the combat and if the group is maintaining a cohesive front
line (see [[Maneuver|MANEUVER]] for details).

Because of the added danger, the person on point for a large group will be
awarded bonus experience each time the group kills something.
