If you are a group member, then you will share experience points for killing
monsters among the group. Experience points will only be shared among
group members that are in the same location, at the time of the killing
blow. Sharing is regardless of whether the group members have been
participating in the fight. The experience award will also be increased
when players are in a group.

Group with no argument show a list of people with whom you are grouped.
To make a group, a "leader" must be selected. All members of the group
must then "follow" the leader using the follow command. The leader can NOT
follow anyone at all! The leader can now toggle group membership for each
player in the group, by using "group <player_name>". The leader should
remember to include himself in the group.

The next step of the group is to decide who will be in the front row and
back rows. The most experienced group leaders will place their most rugged
warrior types in the front row, followed by caster types in the back row.
One player in the front row will usually take the point position.
The leader and point player default to the front row. Anyone else joining
the courageous group falls to the back.

In any group formation, there are bonuses and penalties. We will let the
players figure these out as they go!

Whilst in a group you can find out further details regarding each players
class by using 'group classo'.

Simply type group to see what row you are in. From there, check with your
leader who may want to move you up or back a row. This can be done using
the maneuver command, Please see [[Maneuver|help maneuver]].

Example:
Balrog and Eon want to group with Jake.
Balrog should type: group balrog then follow jake (now he is automatically
part of the group!)
Eon should type: group eon then follow Jake
(Jake should be following no one but himself)
Jake should type: group Jake (he can then type group to find out who
is in his group)
If Jake doesn't want someone in his group, he can type ungroup
<playername> and that person will no longer be in the group. Alternatively he
can type glock to lock his group, in which case nobody else will be able to
join it.
