So, You're Dead.

If you are reading this help page due to more than academic interest, then
you might be dead. If you just chill for a while, then your soul will
eventually disincarnate, at which point your mortal shell will become a
corpse. Your corpse will still have on it all of the stuff you were wearing
and carrying at the time of your death, so you will probably want to
reenter the game and go fetch it. Once your soul has completely detached
itself from your body, you will be supplied with a shiny new body with which
to reenter the game if you so desire.

If you died in (for example) the lair of a fierce dragon which you really
can't fight, especially when it's got all of your gear, then you should ask
somebody powerful for help retrieving your body. Powerful mortals are often
happy to do this sort of thing.

If you know a powerful cleric, then you might have a better alternative:
successful casting of a 'raise dead' spell on your rapidly cooling body
before disincarnation will bring you back to life.
