Creatures and players turn to corpses when they die. You can pick
a corpse up (take corpse), if it is too heavy you can carve some
slices off it (carve corpse). You can eat the slices, but be
careful, for they may be poisoned.

By sacrificing corpses to your god (sacrifice corpse), you can
earn points that may allow you to wear the god's holy equipment.
First you must choose your god by taking a corpse to his or her
temple and sacrificing it there. A tablet in the temple will
show you how many points each follower of the god has earned
through sacrifice.

Corpses can also be used for various other functions. Necromancers
can animate corpse into various undead minions, or even infuse the
corpse's soul into a potion. Clerics can supplicate for assistance,
using corpses to appease their deities. Corpses can even be embalmed
to preserve them for future uses.

It is legal to take equipment from another player's corpse if you
are helping him to recover it with his knowledge and agreement.
Taking equipment from a player's corpse for any other reason
is known as corpse looting and is illegal. It will be heavily
punished by the gods.
